LAKE GARDA – Verona and Lake Garda

Verona and Mantua, both Unesco World Heritage Site, are the artistic and historical centers of this bike tour. It starts and ends in Verona but Lake Garda is the real star of this trip. The largest of the Italian lakes with its mild climate and perfect water temperature, it almost looks like a sea nestled between the Alps and the Po Valley.

The lake is surrounded by palm trees, olive trees and vines and has beaches overlooking three regions: Lombardia, Veneto and Trentino. All around are picturesque villages and towns, parks and nature reserves, beaches and marinas but also large villages full of life.

We spend three nights in Peschiera del Garda, perfectly located to reach the most famous places: Sirmione, Desenzano, Lazise, ​​Bardolino, Garda, Malcesine.
